Young King Arthur: The Dawn of the Light

A world I have always enjoyed traveling in is the one that was very vividly and sweetly shown in T.H.White's magnificent The Once and Future King. I always felt that the harder stories had more to do about showing power and corruption, rather than heart and redemption.

I know that we live in a hard world at times, and violence happens, but it's not the point of our existence, it's only a part we have to learn to deal with.

Young King Arthur is my way of tipping the hat to Mister White's gorgeous stories, while at the same time further spreading the Light that he began to shine forth in his own wonderful stories.

My take on the King Arthur legend is not about the knights of the round table, nor the future Camelot, but rather the angst that a child like Arthur had to deal with in a world so dark at times that many people barely lived to the age of their twenties, let alone in their hundreds as now. A world where the rich took everything from the common man and threw them crumbs, while laughing at them, abusing and torturing them, while sending them off to war to come back with more wealth for them to squander on their self destructive habits.

Wait! That sounds like today!

Not to get preachy, I love the legend, and I hope that you will read my stories, knowing that the end game of them is not about gaining power and control over others, but learning humility and love for one's fellow man...even those dark ones who seek to destroy us, who themselves one day will have to face what they have created.

You can purchase the first of this great series at Amazon for 99cents.

But it now and enjoy hours of reading pleasure.
