On my author site I've just posted a new story in my Rocketman series. It takes place in an alternate timeline where there are two earths...currently...one where World War Two is being won by the Allied Forces, and one where the world fell to the Nazis.
I have based this series on a really cool screenplay I wrote back in the eighties, but never was able to get anyone to purchase at the time. Bit too early for that kind of stuff, you think? Anyway, I always felt that most of the world never really got what the consequences of a Nazi Planet Earth might be like, even after all the revelation of the Holocaust and the mass massacre of the Jews.
Hitler's plans...which many to this day don't understand...was to eliminate everyone but the Aryan race from the planet. Which would have meant the eradication of all colors...black, yellow, brown and so forth, as well as all Jews...white or not!
His scientists at or about the close of the war were experimenting on prisoners, performing operations on them without anesthesia, trying to manipulate them into animals and other cruel things.
Was Hitler mad?
Undoubtedly.
Was he smart enough to rule the world?
Yes!
Only the intervention of America stopped that from happening. Hitler's regime was just weeks, maybe days from discovering the Atom Bomb.
He already had the means to deliver it, even if we had it first...the intercontinental ballistic missile. Had he managed to perfect the bomb...we might, in this country at least, be saying Heil Hitler, instead of God Bless America.
