Working on a new Sherlock Holmes story in a roundabout way.
I love working in the Victorian period of time because of the innocence of its values, the purity of its ideals, even if at times somewhat discolored by wrong ideas...such as women are second place, anyone not white is suspect and each nation has Divine Power as symoblized by their respective Kings and Queens.
But humanity has always been a series of twists and turns in attitude and nature, so new surprises there. Each time period has certain outstanding characteristics, some more enjoyable than others.
I suppose this is why I like Fractal Flames. They are so predictable at times, and yet offer enough surprises and beauty to maintain my interest.
