Earth Versus Flying Saucers, a great Ray Harryhausen sci-fi film that has been totally under rated.

I remember seeing this in the theaters and being shocked out of my socks. It was scary. They were coming. They were coming.

That was the fifties when Communism threatened to draw us into a Nuclear War that no one would or could survive, except in movies which are just fantasies.

Only other recent movie that comes close to the impact of Ray's movie is Independence Day.
